"A family wedding was held at Skazka and everything from the pre-entrance was fantastic. Okay so we forgot a card and the waiter offered to run to duane read 3 - 4 blocks away to get one, can you believe that
Okay that is not as important as the atmosphere, it was very comfortable, the bar served "open happy hour" style pre wedding, then we entered the dining area and everything was gorgeous. The food, presentation and the way the entertainment was set-up was just right for a party of about 100 - 120 people.
The restaurant still offered single a la cart service to many patrons but it did not interfere with the party at all as it was held in a private room. Skazka will remain a top choice for parties in the future."

"I was invited to the party. Worst experience ever. The food is untasteful, The seafood wasn't good, terrible smell. All inclusive package are not worth it. Little food especially if you drink hard drinks. It's a scam. Table was filled with old plates, service is horibble. Music sucks, most Caucasuan, the rest of the night slow and very old russian songs. Would never go again. Don't waste you money. Better go to Chinar or Baku Palace. Not recommended!"

"I wanted to share my experience at Skazka! The place looks beautiful. I did my birthday party on the upstairs level for 37 people this past Saturday night. My party had two tables that were very nicely decorated with elaborate center pieces. The food was delicious and plentiful! I was really impressed with the quality and quantity of food.
I also can't say enough about the wait staff. They were very attentive to any requests made by myself and by guests. They constantly refilled dishes that were empty, served food, poured alcohol and changed plates. Additionally, the staff helped carry up our alcohol, package any left over food and even carried it out to our car!
Additionally, we started our party a bit before the music started, so there was time to talk, the band sang well and provided a great atmosphere. The dance floor was full for most of the evening, with a mix of slow and fast songs as well as a special harmonica performance. The music was actually less loud than many other banquet halls.
Overall, all of our guests were very impressed and had a wonderful evening. While the place is a bit pricy, you really get your money's worth and I didn't feel cheated in any way. Way to go Skazka Restaurant!"

"We book this place in advance for big party and were promised to have only another small party in the same room. Week before event we found out that they squeezed in another party and it was impossible to walk between rows, never mind to move your chair. Food wasn't great either, but waiters did a good job trying to serve people in impossible situation when there was no room to walk and that's why they dropped huge plate with seafood full of ice on my guests, very disappointing!!!"
