"Best chinese food on staten island hands down! Even tho i moved on the other side of staten island i still travel to get my Egg foo young pork fried rice, lo mein and boneless spare ribs, lol The rice is actually a golden color not like those other shitty chinese places that their rice looks brown and burnt yuck! NEW GARDEN YOU ROCK! PS. I would have given 5 stars but you stopped giving out the little fruit bowl in the take out. I miss that"

"Woman in Restsurant is EXTREMELY RUDE!!! And Che's with condiments. No matter how much you spend, she only wants to give 1 pack soy sauce, duck sauce, etc. she has NO sense of good customer service!!! #RUDE!!"

"I agree, the woman in charge is extremely rude ! I had found the place to have okay food at a low price. I use to spend $75.00 per month at New Garden. One night, I ordered 2 Quarts of chicken with rice. Both soups had 5 small pieces of chicken and the rest was rice. What little broth that was there was soaked up by the Rice. The Manager refused to send out a replacement soup. She threw away a regular customer who has never once complained before for $6.25. The New Garden needs a New Manager. I have also heard her be rude to her staff as well. Very bad business. You get what you pay for. Goodbye New Garden, you lost a customer."
